Prathmesh Raorane

An optimist by nature, Mr. Prathmesh Raorane is the Co-founder of Renovate India and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Social work. He also has a Management Degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management

Studies (NMIMS) in Social Entrepreneurship. Prathmesh carries more than a decade of experience in development sector and has actively worked in the field of Research and Development in the organisations like International Institute of Population Studies (IIPS) and Kotak Education Foundation. A spearhead of the organisation, he not only provides a direction to RI for it to proceed further, but also represents the brand RI in the industry. He loves meeting new people and adding their experience to his knowledge. His work domain coincides with his personal strengths of networking and connecting with new people, conceptualizing projects and driving the stakeholders in one direction. Off-work, he is an outdoor person who enjoys trekking, theatre art and travelling.

Alok Kadam

An anchor and the Co-founder of Renovate India, Mr.Alok Kadam is a people’s person who strongly believes in collaborative working ideology. He leads the front in People Management and ensures disciplined and timed efforts to deliver an efficient performance. He holds a degree in social work and a management degree from Narsee Monji Institute of Management studies (NMIMS) in Social Entrepreneurship and has a decade long work experience in the domains of Health, Livelihood along with inclusion of North East Indians. At Renovate India he manages the Community Development Programme and provides focused mentoring to Community Based Organisations. He is extremely efficient and committed in handling CBO based stakeholders. Off work he loves spending quality time with his family. He makes sure to visit his native place at Konkan at least once a year. He is a diehard fan of cricket.

Sunny Pawar

Sunny has pursued Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Nirmala Niketan, College of Social Work and has experience of over 10 years in the development sector. In the past, he has worked in the capacity of Senior Manager for Minim Charitable Foundation (MCF) and has pursued Masters in Business Administration in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS. He has experience in working on different aspects of social work such as Community Mobilization, Proposal Writing, and Documentation. He has been a freelance trainer for more than 6 years and has a Diploma in “Master Trainer Programme” from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and has also received training in “National University Students’ Skill Development (NUSSD) – youth leadership”. A certified trainer from Bombay Management Association & a certified Grief counsellor (dealing with trauma & grief) from S.I.E.S. institute of comprehensive education. His case study (Case 8: Door Step School: Education moves to every DOORSTEP) was published in “Cases in Indian Management (Vol.III)” authored by Dr. B. A. Chansarkar.
He is extremely passionate about storytelling, training, counselling and mentoring youth. He specializes in staff capability building on topics such as communication skills, teamwork, leadership, personality development, career motivation and stress management, gender sensitization and Growing up- understanding puberty, especially for adolescents through workshops, using tools such as interactive sessions, role-plays, activities, games, videos, etc.

When not training, he is either writing or reading about different aspects of social work, healing from trauma and life in general. He is a social media addict. He likes to find new like-minded friends and thus build networks through social media.

Priyanka Karane

Priyanka is the go to person for the entire RI team. She has been the executive of the LDP department and has been the design executive for Renovate since its inception. Although a Graduate in Commerce, her love for colors had brought her to this field for channelizing her creativity. She has extreme perseverance for her forte. She has learned everything in the development sector from scratch through sheer determination and patience and that’s evident from her professional journey over the past 5 years. Currently, she heads the CSR Project Management and Development services and pursuing a Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS. She has a vivacious personality and is a trained classical dancer and passionate about dancing and acting and has performed in numerous live events and shows.

Ruchita Omale

Ruchita works as Accounts Executive at Renovate India. She also handles the Administration department. She has done her Post Graduate studies in Advanced Accountancy from University of Mumbai. She previously worked with Borana Plastic Ltd. as an Accounts Assistant. She likes to read novels & short stories and write poetry. She explores new places through trekking. An artist by choice, she creates her own world on canvas through painting.

Shrikant Salve

Shrikant is the Executive of NGO Capacity Building Department at Renovate India. He has been working in the social sector since his college days, he has worked with WWF, Bright Future which works with education and livelihood, also he was the program coordinator at Poddar Foundation.
He was a design and advertising head and core team member for the ” Youth and Adolescence week” conducted by TISS in association with UNFPA and college of excellence. He feels that every person of our society deserves equal opportunity and access to mainstream resources in order to earn a sustainable living. He’ is a recreational powerlifter, cyclist, and a certified Photographer from National Institute of Photography, and writes poetry.

Director | GlocalBodh

Ninad Khanvilkar

Ninad an Engineer by qualification, and an Entrepreneur by profession, has been a significant addition to the Renovate India team and holds the Director’s position for GlocalBodh. Ninad has been the Director and Chief Operating Officer for his venture – Sumzupp (Online Ed-tech solution). He comes with hands-on experience with tech-solutions space, with avid knowledge of building and streamlining business processes. Studied from Mumbai University, Ninad’s journey began in 2013 where he was a part of Research and Analytics under Supply Chain Services at Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2016, he paved his way out on his own, gaining ground-level experience in building tech products and making them sustainable. An apt Orator, a Product Enthusiast and a Team Lead, Ninad proves to be a strong contributor towards overall ideology for end-user experience and deliver quality services to RI clients. Through GlocalBodh, he intends to bring about a synergy between technology and existing outreach of RI and leverage the services through Android, iOS and Web-based platforms. His hobbies include dancing, singing, theatres and computer gaming.

Pratik Dabhole

Pratik is an open minded individual who believes that cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence. He is extremely friendly and a talkative person and enjoys analyzing and discussing on various topics ranging from Indian and International Economy, Labour issues, Society, Philosophy, Politics and also various aspects of Human Behaviour. In his leisure time, he is fond watching documentaries and attending Seminars on various topics. He has completed his BBA from Symbiosis International University and Master of Labour studies from Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies. He further pursued PG Diploma in International Studies from Mumbai University and is currently pursuing M.A (Psychology) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Prior to joining at Renovate India, he has previously worked at P N Gadgil Jewellers as Human Resource Officer – Mumbai and Goa region. He is extremely passionate about making his contribution to uplift the vulnerable sections of the society and to make a positive impact in their life. It was a conscious decision for him to move to the development space and work with the selfless people who put their heart and soul for the betterment of the society.

Abhijeet Jaiswar

Abhijeet works at Renovate India as a Creative design executive. He has completed his graduation in BSc IT. He has also completed a Desktop Publishing (DTP) course to enhance his creativity. His main interests include graphic designing, photo editing, and conducting experiments with gadgets. He feels that we should never stop learning new things and upgrading technology. The three words which best describe him are Innovative, Sincere and Creative.
He thinks that everyone should explore technology.

Data Management Coordinator

Abhilasha Tambe

Abhilasha is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University, currently handles Data Management team at Renovate India. She is pursuing her Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) from Symbiosis Institute of Pune. She also likes to read motivational quotes and books, always ready to learn new things and an animal lover. She previously worked with Niramaya Health Foundation as a Data Entry Operator and Admin Operations. Her prime motto is to use data for social change.

Shivani Thathera

Shivani works as a marketing executive for Renovate India’s GlocalBodh application. She has a BMM degree and a postgraduate degree in Media, Marketing, and Entertainment. She has been working in the social sector since her college days, where she spent two years in NSS and also attended a district-level leadership camp. She is excellent at management and has handled a variety of operational events. She interned at Viral Fission and Colab India, where she worked as a marketing executive, client service person, and market researcher.
She believes that we should always give our best efforts in whatever opportunities we get in life. Three words which describe her personality; Energetic, Bold and Passionate. She is good at sports, writing shayaries, interpersonal communication, and observational skill.

Niharika Singh

Niharika works as Assistant Manager of the Research Department at Renovate India. She completed her MSc in Geology from the heritage Cotton University, Assam.
She previously worked as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Parul University, Vadodara. She carries 4 years of experience in the field of geology and research. She worked as a City head with the World Youth council, for the city of Guwahati where she trained unprivileged kids in the art of public speaking. With her curious mind and inquisitively, she is inclined towards research studies in educational reforms and sustainability.
She has also been a National level Table Tennis player and is a recreational swimmer and basketball player. She enjoys travelling and exploring the plethora of cultural and natural beauty the world has to offer. A gifted artist herself, she holds a diploma in Fine Arts and Painting from the renowned Shishu Niketan Kolkata and has housed various art exhibitions across India.

Pranoti Dharankar

Pranoti works as Research Executive in Renovate India. She completed her BSW and MSW from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work.
She has an intense experience of 5 years as a student social worker in the social work field and academic research. She was also part of the Rotaract club of Nirmala Niketan and the President of the club for 2 years.
She loves great music. She prefers spending time watching movies at home or going out with friends on weekends.

Tejaswita Auti

Tejaswita is Executive, OPD at Renovate India. She has done her Masters in MBA Marketing. Working for cooperate made her question what impact does her work has on the society and this became her motivation to shift into development sector. Passion for helping people and to contribute her part in creating a social change brought her to Renovate India.
Apart from all work she is ambidextrous and also a National Level Cyclist. Someone who loves to interact with people and know their stories. She also likes to read, always ready to explore new things and when it comes to entertainment, she is fond of thriller and horror movies.

Archana Rao

Archana Rao has completed her course in Special Education from SNDT University. She has a valuable work experience of over 14 years. She has handled both programmes as well as field level work in ensuring enhanced use of innovative ideas for special needs education.

Archana has completed her Master’s in Business Administration in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS. Through her work at various organisations, Archana has created educational content for special needs population and trained over 150 members working for education of children from different
backgrounds. She is also a recipient of the prestigious ‘Young Woman in Public Affairs Award’ from Zonta International organization. She is currently working as a Freelance Consultant for Organisations engaged in working for persons with special needs.

Manvi Singh

Manvi is Software engineer by qualification, with 14 years of IT experience, she moved to the social development sector a decade back, starting as a volunteer with an education-based NGO called VIDYA. Later she led the Mumbai branch of the same org in areas of programmatic intervention, operations, and strategy. Currently, Manvi is associated with multiple organizations in areas of strategy, sustainability planning, leadership capacity building, safeguarding, and fundraising.

But she found her calling in Art of various forms. She began her journey of exploring herself as an artist by being a part of Short plays and creative content. She worked as a Researcher and Creative Content
Writer at Indiemuviz.com now popularly known as Muviz.com. She’s worked in Marathi plays as an actor as well as assistant director. She has Co-written a Short film, ‘Special Dish’, for which she received an award for the Best Screen play at the Pune Short Film Festival. An avid reader herself, Nikita’s favourite quote is,

Kiran Dalani

Currently a visiting professor in Thakur and KES college she covers subjects of Media like Advertising, Public relations, Consumer Behaviour.

An MBA in Social entrepreneurship from NMIMS and a Post Graduate in Advertising and Marketing from Xavier’s enriches her theory with experience. Her experience spans from working in Lintas
advertising agency for brands like Tata Croma, Balbir pasha and Tata cards.

Her marketing experience ranges from owning an FMCG company to marketing loyalty smart cards. She has a flair for poetry writing and Spending time with children. In her spare time, she conducts workshops for NGO’s on topics in her domain.
